Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jackson Storm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Everett Arroyo!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arroyo shoots for a double leg takedown but Storm sprawls well. He's pushed Arroyo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Arroyo will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
An attempted straight right counter from Storm misses the target.
Storm takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Storm uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Arroyo has time to react.
It looks like Everett Arroyo has been cut.
Storm cracks the inside of Arroyo's front leg.
Storm connects with a body shot.
A lazy body kick from Arroyo
and Storm connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Storm takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Arroyo scores with a push kick.
Everett Arroyo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Arroyo!

Arroyo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

and Arroyo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The fighters circling - Storm throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Arroyo throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Storm scores with a counter punch that sends Arroyo to the canvas! Storm smells blood - he's punishing Arroyo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Arroyo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jackson Storm!
Jackson Storm tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
