Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hot Sauce!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sauce lands with a shot to the body.
Sauce throws a lazy right hand but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Sauce should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Sauce takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Sauce jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jackson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Jackson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Jackson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jackson working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sauce's head.
Sauce looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jackson is one step ahead there.
Sauce has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle.
Jackson throwing strikes from guard but Sauce blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson landing some decent shots from guard.
Jackson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Sauce working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Jackson has passed into half guard!
Jackson maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Sauce could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Jackson has cracked it and Sauce is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Jackson!
