Machida gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Kaapa looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Machida is working for takedown but Kaapa is calmly controlling the position for now.
Kaapa tries to stall but Machida uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Machida tries to stand but Kaapa is controlling from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Machida stands up from Kaapa's guard - Machida perhaps looking for a knockout.

Machida closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Machida throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
You can see the frustration on Kaapa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Kaapa regains half guard there - taking advantage of Machida's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Machida is keen to just control but Kaapa is a slippery customer.

Machida seems to be working for a kimura but Kaapa defends the submission attempt.
Kaapa is not content to let Machida control the position.

Machida seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Kaapa is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
