The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice shot lands for Da Silva.
Nash tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Da Silva manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Da Silva works Nash's body with a nice hook.
Da Silva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nash throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Da Silva sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nash closes the distance but Da Silva moves to the side
and Da Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nash thinking.
Da Silva keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nash.
Da Silva doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Nash tries to clinch but Da Silva moves away
and Da Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Nash takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Da Silva blocks a jab.
Da Silva throws out a counter right but Nash avoids it with no problem.
Da Silva scores with a nice strike.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nash has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Da Silva finds it's way round the side to connect with Nash's head.
Nash misses with an uppercut
and Da Silva counters with a crisp right that sends Nash to the canvas! Da Silva follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
