The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boss misses with a hook. Vecellio ducked under it nicely.
A nice side step and Vecellio releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Boss lands with a cross.
Vecellio connects with an inside leg kick.
Boss connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Like Boss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boss throws a shot from downtown. Vecellio moves away and avoids it.
Boss throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Vecellio connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Like Boss has been cut.
Vecellio tries to score with a low kick but Boss moves his leg out of the way.
Vecellio throws a poor cross that misses
and Boss connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boss jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A jab from Vecellio does it's job there.
Boss throws a hook but Vecellio avoids it easily.
Vecellio moves away from the strike by Boss.
We've been informed that Vecellio has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Boss throws a poor cross that misses
and Vecellio counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Boss looks to land a right hand but Vecellio moved out of range.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vecellio looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Boss moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Vecellio just misses with a punch to the body.
Boss throws a leg kick
letting Vecellio counter with a right hand.
Vecellio cracks Boss with an uppercut from hell and Boss crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Vecellio's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Boss is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vecellio stands up from Boss's guard - Vecellio perhaps looking for a knockout.
Oh Boss is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vecellio lands a brutal uppercut that launches Boss off his feet! Boss tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Machiavelli Vecellio!
After winning the bout, Machiavelli Vecellio thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
