Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Damian Hunter (ranked 3533 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manoy Timmoy (ranked 7204 p4p, 0 weight class). Manoy Timmoy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunter misses with a left hand
and Timmoy makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hunter throws a hook but Timmoy avoids it easily.
Timmoy now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Hunter turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hunter has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Timmoy uses from the top position.

Timmoy got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Timmoy has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted.

Hunter has his foot on Timmoy's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Timmoy works his way back into a safe position though.
Hunter seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Timmoy has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hunter is proving hard to escape from.

Timmoy wants to get up but he can't break Hunter's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Hunter isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Timmoy stacks Hunter on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Timmoy!

Hunter is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Timmoy is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Timmoy regains half guard there - taking advantage of Hunter's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Damian Hunter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Hunter lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Hunter clinches up with Timmoy and pushes him back against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Damian Hunter will probably get the nod.

Hunter jabs Timmoy right on the nose. Timmoy blinks but takes it well.

Hunter swings wildly with an uppercut but Timmoy uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hunter lands a shoulder strike.

Hunter lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Timmoy backwards.
Hunter has a couple of punches blocked by Timmoy.
Hunter misses with a short punch on the inside.

Hunter turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hunter manages to end up in side control.

Hunter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Timmoy displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hunter.
Hunter cracks Timmoy with a good jab.
Timmoy slips a straight right by Hunter.
Manoy Timmoy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Timmoy takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Hunter moves into range and clinches up with Timmoy.

Hunter is trying to drag Timmoy to the mat but Timmoy just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Damian Hunter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Timmoy tries to break the clinch but Hunter is controlling the position.
