The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Myanus to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Myanus drops back looking for a leg! Jones is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Jones manages to kick Myanus off! Myanus jumps back into Jones's guard.

Myanus trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Myanus has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
