Diggler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vera II but Vera II pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vera II works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Slerba Diggler has been cut.

Diggler had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Vera II is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Diggler Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Vera II's back instead.

Diggler looking to break Vera II's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Vera II remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Diggler will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Diggler bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Vera II comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Diggler falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Diggler was out before he hit the floor!
