Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Cramer (ranked 4675 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Gibbons (ranked 4674 p4p, 420 weight class). Cramer comes to the cage accompanied by Enter Sandman. Gibbons has chosen When The Levee Breaks - Led Zeppelin as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cramer has Gibbons up against the cage in a clinch.
Cramer is pressed up against the cage. Gibbons has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cramer down to the mat. Cramer avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cramer scores with a jab to the head.
Cramer tries to clinch but Gibbons moves out of range.
A little jabbing left from Gibbons on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Gibbons ducks under a wild hook from Cramer.

Oooooh!!! Cramer has knocked Gibbons down with a huge combo! Cramer steps away and waves a wobbly Gibbons back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


It looks like Tommy Gibbons has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cramer cracks Gibbons with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Gibbons looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cramer finish him?


Gibbons is rocked!

Cramer moves into range and clinches up with Gibbons.
Gibbons is still on wobbly legs! Can Cramer finish him?

Cramer successfully pulls guard.
Cramer keeping moving, preventing Gibbons from controlling successfully.
Gibbons seems to have recovered his senses.
Cramer is pulling down on Gibbons's head to control his posture.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gibbons is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cramer is looking for a triangle but Gibbons pushes his legs off easily.

Cramer lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Gibbons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cramer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cramer looking to sit in guard and control but Gibbons gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Gibbons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cramer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Cramer wants to get back to his feet but Gibbons is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Gibbons got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cramer has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gibbons has managed to get both his arms back between Cramer's legs - danger averted.

Cramer manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gibbons manages to get himself to full guard.

Cramer wants to stand but Gibbons has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Cramer throws a big right hand that misses.
Gibbons keeping moving, preventing Cramer from controlling successfully.
Gibbons tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Gibbons looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cramer is one step ahead there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cramer is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cramer tries to close the distance and clinch but Gibbons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A combination from Cramer does no damage.
Gibbons tries to counter by closing the distance.
Cramer lands a glancing blow to the side of Gibbons's head.

Cramer is looking to clinch but Gibbons is avoiding it.

Gibbons is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cramer's half guard.

Cramer is looking to control Gibbons's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cramer avoid being mounted?
Gibbons thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cramer's head.

Cramer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Cramer can't find room to land a body shot as Gibbons controls the action.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Cramer manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Gibbons uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cramer.

Gibbons lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Nick Cramer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Gibbons shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Cramer sneaks out the side door and pushes Gibbons away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

And Gibbons tries to counter it with a takedown but Cramer pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Gibbons shoots in looking for a takedown but Cramer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gibbons's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Cramer stalks Gibbons and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gibbons's face. Gibbons staggers backwards, shaken.

Cramer drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cramer lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gibbons.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nick Cramer showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Cramer has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
