Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kelly Ewing (ranked 7146 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Carter Williams (ranked 5680 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Ethan Carter Williams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Williams. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Williams.
Williams throws a jab when Ewing was well out of range.
Williams listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Ewing gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Williams.
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ewing.
Williams is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ewing with a body shot.
Ewing shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A little jabbing left from Williams on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Williams connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Ewing's hands.
Williams misses with a body shot
and Ewing counters with a body kick that stops Williams in his tracks momentarily.
Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ewing.

Ewing moves into the clinch.

Ewing pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Williams lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ewing looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Ewing persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams stalks Ewing and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ewing's face. Ewing staggers backwards, shaken.
Williams looks to land a combination. Ewing sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Ewing uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Williams misses with a few strikes there.

Williams tries to keep at a distance but Ewing has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ewing's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ewing is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Williams.
Ewing uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Williams.
Ewing is looking to counter with head kicks.
Williams might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Williams takes a swing at Ewing's ribcage but misses.
Ewing wants to clinch up but Williams keeps it at a distance.
A countering left hand to the body from Williams misses.
Ewing shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Ewing keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Ewing makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Ewing throws out a loose jab but Williams uses good head movement to avoid it.

It looked like Ewing wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Ewing jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Williams walks away with a smile on his face. Ewing gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ewing jumps guard and drags Williams to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Ewing has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Williams has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Williams blocks an uppercut.

Ewing ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ewing no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ewing. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ewing scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Williams wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Williams throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ewing doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Ewing fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Williams throws a series of punches but Ewing avoids them all with ease.
Ewing shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense.
Ewing tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Ewing ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Ewing dives in and grabs Williams's left leg, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes down on Ewing's head and hops out.
Williams looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Ethan Carter Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ewing tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Williams swivels and escapes.
Williams lands a jab to the nose.
Ewing shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Williams throws out a counter right but Ewing avoids it with no problem.
Williams scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ewing ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Kelly Ewing has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Ewing tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Ethan Carter Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Williams winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
