The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Colt is defended easily by Dogmock.
A nice side step and Dogmock releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dogmock throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Colt drops down looking for a counter takedown but Dogmock sprawls and moves away.
Dogmock stuffs the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dogmock fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Colt, pushing him back against the cage.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Colt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dogmock tries to avoid it but Colt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dogmock to the ground. Dogmock escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Colt changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dogmock looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Dogmock wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Colt has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Dogmock moves to clinch but Colt breaks away
and Colt counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Dogmock thinking.

Dogmock fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Colt to the ground. Dogmock is now in Colt's guard.
Dogmock wanted to stand there but Colt had control of the position.

Dogmock gets to his feet. Colt looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Dogmock keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cattag Dogmock showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Colt for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
