Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Richard Head (ranked 6495 p4p, 427 weight class) and Jonathan Binetti (ranked 5274 p4p, 387 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Binetti closes the distance and pushes Head back into the cage.

Head pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Head avoids a punch combination nicely.
Binetti keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Head.
Head lands a really nice looking cross but Binetti seems unphased.
A jab from Head misses.
Binetti wants to counter the offense by Head and move into the clinch position.
The fighters circling - Head throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Binetti moves out of range of the strikes.
Binetti looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Head throwing a counter right hand but Binetti manages to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Head. Binetti does a little dance to reset his feet.
Good exchange - Head coming out on top.
Head ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Binetti moves away.
Binetti throws a right hand that Head ducks under and follows up with a left that Head also avoids with ease.
Binetti fails in his attempt to clinch.
Binetti takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Binetti throws a series of strikes that have Head backpedaling.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Binetti forces Head back against the cage and clinches.

Head's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Head misses with a hook. Binetti ducked under it nicely.
And Binetti responds with a good body kick, but Head manages to step out the way in time.

Binetti fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
A combination from Binetti does no damage.
Head looks to land a right hand but Binetti moved out of range.
Binetti lands with a right hand.
Binetti goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Head is rocked!
Binetti lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Head falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
