Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between rocky punch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and brick wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). rocky punch could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to brick wall's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, rocky punch!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, brick wall!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and John Roberts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by wall or perhaps it was just good defense by punch which made him look bad.
punch shoots in but wall avoids the takedown attempt easily.

punch clinches up with wall and pushes him back against the ropes.

punch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
punch throws a right hand that wall ducks under and follows up with a left that wall also avoids with ease.
punch tries to close the distance and clinch up but wall swats him away and circles back towards the center.

punch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in wall's guard.
punch sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed wall's guard.
wall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. punch is working away from the top position though.

wall manages to escape and get back to his feet!

wall is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
punch wants to stand but wall has his arm trapped.
wall is looking to reverse the position.
punch tries to stand but wall is controlling his head.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

punch decides to stand back up.
punch fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

wall shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts punch as he jumps to the side.
punch shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has wall pinned against the cage. wall gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

wall breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

wall is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
punch will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

wall thows a body shot but no joy.
punch throws a head kick that misses.

wall shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
wall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
punch keeping moving, preventing wall from controlling successfully.
wall throws and elbow that misses. punch uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in wall's guard. Nice move by punch!

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

That was a close round but I would say that rocky punch will probably get the nod.

wall misses with a takedown attempt - punch sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
wall changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. punch tries to avoid it but wall manages to keep hold of a leg and drag punch to the ground. punch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. punch connects with a nice short shot to wall's temple.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
wall pushes punch off looking to stand but punch dives back in and keeps control.
