The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Durara misses

and Jansen counters with a shoot takedown. Durara fights it but they end up in guard.

Durara has an active guard here but Jansen has managed to pass into half guard.
Durara wants to get back to full guard.

Jansen is trying to work for a kimura but Durara is defending well.
Well, if Jansen is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jansen is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jansen connects with a nice short shot to Durara's temple.

Jansen is nestled in close to Durara, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are battling for position here. Durara manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Durara isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Jansen stacks Durara on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Jansen!

Jansen cracks Durara with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
