Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Avila Alvarez (ranked 4165 p4p, 422 weight class) and Vlad Black (ranked 2340 p4p, 275 weight class). Alvarez comes to the cage accompanied by Barbarian by The Darkness. Avila Alvarez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alvarez.
Black throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Alvarez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Avila Alvarez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black lands a nice leg kick that just misses Alvarez's sensitive parts.
Black throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Alvarez on the side of the head.
Alvarez misses with a head kick.
Alvarez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but Alvarez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Avila Alvarez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Black lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alvarez at a distance.
Alvarez looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Alvarez shoots in but Black avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Black feints a counter leg kick.
Alvarez tries to clinch there but Black circles away.
Black lands with a cross.
Alvarez moves out of range as Black strikes.
Alvarez drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Alvarez is rocked!
Alvarez walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Black swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
