Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yeke Khan (ranked 5816 p4p, 548 weight class) and Winston Markus (ranked 3345 p4p, 389 weight class). Khan comes to the cage accompanied by America The Beautiful. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markus getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Markus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Markus bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Khan's head.
The fighters circle momentarily. Markus darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheers as Markus lands an impressive looking overhand right. Khan doesn't seem phased though.

Khan tries to keep at a distance but Markus has taken the fight into the clinch.
Markus lands an elbow that stopped Khan in his tracks for a moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Still in the clinch, Markus scores with a nice short uppercut.

Khan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Markus fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Markus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Khan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Markus lands an elbow inside that Khan shrugs off.

It looks like Yeke Khan has been cut.

Khan is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Markus lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Oh Khan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Markus has Khan pressed against the cage. He pushes Khan back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Markus throws a beautiful elbow that sends Khan crashing to the floor! Markus piles on the pressure with more strikes! Khan is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Winston Markus!
Winston Markus bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
Yeke Khan was interviewed post fight and said 'I want to apologize to my fans. That wasn't the performance I wanted to have. I think I need some time off to sharpen my skills, but I'll be back with a fire in my heart! And I'll be coming for that belt!'.
