Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jay Jackson (ranked 4672 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Deak (ranked 7204 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jackson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Deak's guard.

Deak pushes Jackson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jackson in particular looking to stall.
Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Deak for as long as he can get away with.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Deak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jackson throws a strike but Deak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Tomas Deak showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Deak shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jackson sprawls well. Jackson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Deak gets slowly back to his feet.

I would just about give that final round to Tomas Deak.
