Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Tyson!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyson misses with a takedown attempt - Allen sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Allen. Allen gets slowly back to his feet.

Tyson tries to keep at a distance but Allen has taken the fight into the clinch.
Tyson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Allen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Allen gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Tyson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen trying to stand up but can't free himself from Tyson's guard.
Tyson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Allen stands and steps away. Tyson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Allen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Allen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Allen stands up and beckons Tyson to join him on the feet.
Allen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Tyson rushes Allen and presses him up against the cage.

Allen gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tyson wants to get back to full guard.
Allen is taking a breather. Tyson says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Tyson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Allen is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Allen decides to stand up.
Allen leaves Tyson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Nathaniel Allen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Tyson.

Tyson is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Allen is defending well for now.
Tyson tries to pull guard but Allen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Allen turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Allen stands up.

Allen rushes Tyson and presses him up against the cage.

Tyson is trying to pull guard but Allen has him pressed against the cage.

Allen pulls guard successfully.
Allen is pulling down on Tyson's head. It's preventing any offense from Tyson, at least for the moment.
Allen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tyson is one step ahead there.
Tyson postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Allen holds on and takes a little breather.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Allen has his feet on Tyson's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Tyson gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Allen - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Tyson jumps guard but Allen stands there with Tyson around his waist. Tyson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Allen keeps control of Tyson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Allen with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Tyson is trying to pull guard but Allen turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Allen wants the takedown. Tyson is fighting it off but Allen persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Tyson's guard against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Allen gets control of Tyson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Allen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Tyson throws a strike but Allen rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Allen gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tyson goes for a takedown attempt but Allen pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Tyson misses with a looping right.
Tyson shoots in looking for a takedown but Allen manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tyson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A little feinted left hand from Allen on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Allen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Allen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tyson wants to control from the top but Allen keeps moving.

Allen has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Tyson is on him like a limpet, forcing Allen back against the cage.

Tyson gets caught napping as Allen dives in and scores a takedown. Tyson manages to retain guard.
Tyson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Allen clinches up with Tyson and pushes him back against the cage.

Tyson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Tyson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Allen smiles and moves away.
Mike Tyson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Tyson gets tackled into the cage by Allen. Allen maintains the clinch.

Allen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Allen darts in and clinches Tyson up against the cage.
Tyson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Allen just stands there and leans against the cage.

Allen manages to break the clinch.
Tyson misses with a takedown

and Allen counters by moving into the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Allen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Allen shoots in and bounces Tyson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Allen gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tyson misses with a head kick.
Allen misses with a straight left.

Allen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Tyson to the mat! Tyson manages to get full guard.

Tyson pushes Allen off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tyson wants to break free but Allen has control.

Allen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tyson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Tyson tries to keep at a distance but Allen has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tyson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Allen manages to break the clinch.

Tyson forces Allen back against the cage and clinches.

Allen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Allen is going to stand back up.

Allen missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.

Allen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tyson is just riding it out for now. Allen eventually gives up the hold.
Tyson is positioning himself well to prevent Allen advancing to mount.
Tyson is looking to improve his position.
Allen stalling.
Allen wants to stand but Tyson has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Tyson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Allen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Allen decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A bone on bone clash there as Allen blocks the leg kick.

Allen feints and as Tyson raises his hands in defense, Allen changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Allen stands up and waves to Tyson to follow him.

Tyson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Allen pulls guard.

Allen is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Allen has Tyson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Allen pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tyson tumbling to the mat - Allen dives into Tyson's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Allen tries to stand but Tyson is controlling from the bottom.
