Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Michale Chang (ranked 24367 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucas Peralli (ranked 4707 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michale Chang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucas Peralli!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Peralli has managed to clinch.
Peralli has Chang pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Chang manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Chang tries to pull guard but Peralli forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Chang wants the takedown. Peralli is fighting it off but Chang persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Peralli's guard against the cage.
Peralli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Chang stands up and waves to Peralli to follow him.
Peralli shoots in for a double leg but Chang sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Chang seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Chang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Michale Chang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lucas Peralli.

Peralli throws a half hearted mid kick.
Peralli tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chang swivels and escapes.
Peralli looks winded!
Chang throws a wild body kick that Peralli sees coming a mile off.
Peralli is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Peralli wants to clinch
and Chang counters with a two punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chang stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Peralli gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Chang wants to control but Peralli is keeping busy.
Chang is controlling Peralli's trapped leg to prevent Peralli from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chang tries to circle away but Peralli has him pinned against the cage.

Chang not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chang has a closed guard, preventing Peralli from standing up.
Peralli sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Chang controls Peralli momentarily but Peralli frees himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Chang tries to land a knee to the head but Peralli blocks with his arms.
Chang is trying to push Peralli away but Peralli has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Chang on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Chang pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Peralli is trying to pull guard but Chang has him pressed against the cage.

Peralli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Peralli has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Chang after a bit of a struggle.
Chang tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Peralli goes for a takedown attempt but Chang pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Peralli shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Chang as he jumps to the side.
Lucas Peralli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peralli will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Chang wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A frustrated look appears on Chang's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Peralli escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Peralli is looking to break free of the clinch but Chang has double underhooks.
Peralli fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Chang looks for the body kick but Peralli saw that one coming.
Peralli tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Chang tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Peralli is able to avoid easily.

Chang looks to score with a jab to the body but Peralli is just out of range.

Chang breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Peralli shoots in for a takedown but Chang shows good takedown defense.
Chang misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Peralli can do to turn this around?

and Peralli counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Michale Chang will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


The fight stays on the outside here - Peralli looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Peralli shoots in looking for a takedown but Chang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peralli's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Peralli tries to clinch but Chang moves out of range.

Peralli closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Chang quickly recovers to half guard.
Peralli passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Chang!
Peralli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Peralli throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chang's waist but Chang gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Peralli off to one side.
Chang throws a big counter combination but Peralli scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Peralli drives through and clinches with Chang against the cage.

Peralli pulls Chang into guard.
Chang missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Chang working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Peralli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Peralli can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chang controls the pace.

Peralli is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Chang stands up over Peralli, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Chang landing with the ground and pound.
Chang postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Chang stands and steps away. Peralli gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Peralli clinches with his opponent.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Peralli breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Michale Chang is winning the standup battle so far.
No luck for Peralli with that takedown attempt.

I would just about give that final round to Lucas Peralli.
I think Chang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
