Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marc Fuentes (ranked 24076 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maatuska Mummo (ranked 4539 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuentes lands with a kick to the ribs.

Fuentes moves into range and clinches up with Mummo.
Mummo lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Marc Fuentes has been cut.
Fuentes really is a fat lump.
Mummo lands a left hand.
Mummo is pushing Fuentes up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Fuentes tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Mummo lands an elbow inside.
Fuentes wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Fuentes is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mummo to keep the fight standing.

Fuentes gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Mummo regains guard.
Mummo is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Fuentes would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Mummo manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fuentes manages to get himself to full guard.

Mummo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Still in half guard, Mummo seems content to control.
Fuentes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mummo in particular looking to stall.

Mummo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Fuentes tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Mummo is in Fuentes's guard.

Mummo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fuentes sprawls well initially but Mummo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Marc Fuentes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
