The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thompson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Lukaszenko takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Thompson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Thompson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lukaszenko.
Lukaszenko takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Lukaszenko fails with the takedown.
We've been told by Thompson's head coaches at 3Band MMA ($800/week) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lukaszenko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Thompson swivels and escapes.
Thompson attempts a counter takedown but Lukaszenko avoids it well and moves away.
Jay Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladimir Lukaszenko.
Thompson throws a one two combo.
Lukaszenko shoots in but no luck this time.
Thompson changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Thompson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Thompson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lukaszenko prevents Thompson from getting back to his feet.
Lukaszenko passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Lukaszenko working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Thompson pushes Lukaszenko away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lukaszenko gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Lukaszenko is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Thompson looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lukaszenko gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Thompson is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lukaszenko lets go of the hold and Thompson can pop his arm back in it's socket.
