Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Rose (ranked 6097 p4p, 534 weight class) and Floyd Adams (ranked 4882 p4p, 476 weight class). Floyd Adams struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams dives in and grabs Rose's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rose pushes down on Adams's head and hops out.
Adams wants to clinch up but Rose keeps it at a distance.
Rose misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Adams.
Rose tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Adams defends well and Rose ends up having to push Adams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Adams gets a takedown into half guard.
Rose slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Rose has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Adams should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Rose has tightened it up now! Adams should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
