Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Loyd Simmons (ranked 24699 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brantley Gamble (ranked 4705 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gamble closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Simmons's guard.

Simmons wriggles free and stands up.

Gamble fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Simmons sprawls well initially but Gamble persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Simmons tries to kick Gamble off in order to stand up. Gamble Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Gamble tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gamble has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Simmons keeps control of Gamble as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Gamble's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Gamble shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Simmons manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Simmons scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Gamble throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Simmons was covering up waiting for the punch and Gamble finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Simmons has his feet on Gamble's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

This one could be over very soon! Gamble goes limp - he's gone! Simmons jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
