Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Australian RooMan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, TJ Minchew!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minchew fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Minchew looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Minchew walks into a left hand.

RooMan rushes Minchew and presses him up against the cage.
RooMan lands a hook that snaps the head of Minchew backwards.
RooMan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

RooMan breaks from the clinch.
RooMan cracks Minchew with an open hand slap.


Minchew is rocked!
Nice sprawl there from RooMan as Minchew shoots in.
We've been told by RooMan's head coaches at New York Training Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
RooMan lands a body shot.
Minchew misses with a takedown attempt - RooMan sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Australian RooMan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of TJ Minchew.

That's one minute gone in the round.
RooMan lands with a right hand.
Minchew is still on wobbly legs! Can RooMan finish him?

RooMan has managed to clinch.
Minchew seems to have recovered his senses.

RooMan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
RooMan cracks a nice hook into Minchew's ribs.
RooMan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and RooMan wants it to stay on the feet.
RooMan lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
RooMan lands a nice shot to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by RooMan!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
RooMan connects with a body shot.
RooMan cracks Minchew with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A relieved looking Australian RooMan thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
