The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Williams let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Potter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Williams sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Potter shoots in but no luck this time.
Williams takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Israel Potter has been cut.
Potter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Potter shoots for a takedown but Williams saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Israel Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Potter walks into a straight right hand from Williams.

Potter shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Williams's guard.
