Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Southern Goon (ranked 2880 p4p, 321 weight class) and Chunzhi Zheng (ranked 3006 p4p, 333 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zheng is defended easily by Goon.
A little feinted left hand from Goon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Goon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zheng moves out of range as Goon strikes.
Goon swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Goon is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A punch lands to the side of Zheng 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Goon catches Zheng with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Goon leaves Zheng with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Zheng tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Goon manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Zheng shoots for a double leg takedown but Goon sprawls well. He's pushed Zheng's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Zheng might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Goon has got the better of the exchanges.

It looked like Goon was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Zheng.
