The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sannon dives in and grabs Martin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Martin pushes down on Sannon 's head and hops out.
Martin fails to land with a series of punches.
Martin misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Martin lands a big head kick that sends Sannon tumbling to the mat! Martin takes a step backwards and waves Sannon back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Sannon is rocked!

It looks like Chel Sannon has been cut.
Nice sprawl there from Martin as Sannon shoots in.
Sannon is still on wobbly legs! Can Martin finish him?
Martin throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Sannon 's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sannon takes one to the side of the head.

Sannon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sannon showed some decent athleticism there.
Martin missing with punches from the bottom.
Sannon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sannon prevents Martin from improving his position.
Sannon seems to have recovered his senses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Martin moves into full guard.
Martin is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Sannon content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Martin has locked up a guillotine! Martin's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Sannon is holding on here and Martin must be using up a lot of energy. Sannon has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Martin gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
