Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Delacruz (ranked 24643 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwight Dumile (ranked 6639 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwight Dumile!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Delacruz moves into the clinch successfully.

Dumile has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Delacruz clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Dumile is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Dumile avoiding Delacruz 's attempts to control his hands.
Dumile just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Dumile might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dumile slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Let's hope that Dumile has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Dumile.
Delacruz just trying to survive but Dumile is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

Delacruz trying to control the hands but Dumile breaks the grip.
Dumile keeps control of the position easily here as Delacruz tries to buck him off.
Dumile is continuing to stall.
Dumile's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
More stalling from Dumile.
The adventures of Dumile the control monster continue. Boring.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Dumile closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Delacruz's guard.

Dumile has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yet more stalling tactics from Dumile.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Dumile drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Delacruz is trying to escape the mount.
Dumile should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dumile is working for a guillotine from mount but Delacruz frees his head quite easily.
Delacruz is trying to escape the mount but Dumile keeps good control and instead manages to take Delacruz's back.

Dumile has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Delacruz is in real trouble here. Dumile gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Delacruz is tapping out! Dumile wins by rear naked choke!
