Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamie Bowen (ranked 23418 p4p, 0 weight class) and Loose Kid (ranked 4617 p4p, 0 weight class). Jamie Bowen is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jamie Bowen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Loose Kid!
The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Steve Erwin and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen slips a jab and a cross from Kid.
Kid connects with a looping right hand.
Loose Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kid lands in his opponent's guard.
Bowen has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kid off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Kid shoots in and drives through. Bowen sprawls well.
As Kid tries to get set, Bowen tries to push him back and clinch up but Kid manages to avoid the attempt.
Bowen takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Bowen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kid tries for a takedown but Bowen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bowen misses with a head kick.
Kid decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Bowen is positioning himself well to prevent Kid advancing to mount.

Kid stands up from half guard.
Kid tries for a takedown but Bowen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Bowen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kid now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kid is looking to clinch but Bowen is avoiding it.
Kid tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kid throws a body shot but no joy.
Kid tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bowen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bowen seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Kid swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bowen tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kid manages to circle out of the way.
Kid misses with an attempted mid kick.
Bowen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kid misses with a head kick.

Kid darts in looking for a takedown but Bowen gets double underhooks and turns Kid into the cage.
Bowen throws a quick counter head kick but Kid was just out of range.
Kid looks winded!
Horrible takedown attempt by Kid or perhaps it was just good defense by Bowen, which made it look bad.
Bowen decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kid pushes Bowen off looking to stand but Bowen dives back in and keeps control.
Kid is trying to get back to full guard.
Kid wants to control but Bowen is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Bowen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Bowen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kid defends it well.
Bowen is working for a kimura but Kid is defending it quite comfortably.
Kid flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jamie Bowen will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kid gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Bowen holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bowen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Kid breaks from the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kid.
Kid drives through and clinches with Bowen against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bowen has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kid is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Kid breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Bowen wants to clinch up but Kid keeps it at a distance.
Kid connects with a jab.
Kid lands a nice looking body kick.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Kid connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bowen momentarily.
Kid looks for a takedown but Bowen sprawls well.
Bowen attempts a counter takedown but Kid avoids it well and moves away.
Kid looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bowen is fending him off so far but Kid persists. Nope, Bowen circles away and we're back to standing.

Kid is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bowen is keeping busy.

Kid is trying to drag Bowen to the mat but Bowen just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bowen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kid pulls his leg out and moves away.
Kid is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Kid shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kid showed some decent athleticism there.

Kid wants to stand up but Bowen has a hold of him and won't allow it.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kid wants to get back to his feet.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bowen blocks a head kick by Kid.
Kid connects with a solid leg kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Loose Kid showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Kid moves into the clinch.
Kid manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Kid keeping moving, preventing Bowen from controlling successfully.
Kid controls Bowen momentarily but Bowen frees himself.
Kid is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bowen defends well.
Kid will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Bowen tries to stall but Kid uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Bowen has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Kid avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bowen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Kid prevents it.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bowen is looking to take this one to the mat.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Kid.
Kid fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Kid moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Bowen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kid now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kid stalks Bowen and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bowen's face. Bowen staggers backwards, shaken.

Bowen leaves Kid with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kid or perhaps it was just good defense by Bowen, which made it look bad.
Bowen fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Kid blocks a head kick by Bowen.
Kid has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Bowen leaves Kid with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bowen seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bowen stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Kid connects with a nice looking jab.
Bowen tries to keep at a distance but Kid has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bowen is trying to drag Kid to the mat but Kid just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kid successfully pulls guard.
Bowen throwing strikes from guard but Kid blocks nicely.
And that's the end of the fight!
Loose Kid comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kid has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
