Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Asiong Salonga (ranked 6935 p4p, 588 weight class) and Samart Payakaroon (ranked 5679 p4p, 517 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Asiong Salonga has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Asiong Salonga seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salonga fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Payakaroon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
A nice leg kick lands there from Payakaroon.
Salonga misses with a wild body shot.
Payakaroon scores with a leg kick.
Payakaroon tries to clinch up but Salonga circles away and keeps his distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Salonga misses the target.
Payakaroon loads up on a big right hand but Salonga slips the punch.
Salonga takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Payakaroon misses with an uppercut. Salonga saw that one coming.

Payakaroon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Salonga is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Payakaroon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Salonga connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Payakaroon scrambles back to his feet.

Payakaroon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Payakaroon there as he acknowledges the shot.
Payakaroon throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Payakaroon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Salonga. That did some damage!
Salonga stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Payakaroon.
Salonga throws a lazy right hand but Payakaroon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Salonga is rocked!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Payakaroon! Salonga is out on his feet! Payakaroon rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Salonga is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Salonga is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
