Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gilberto Da Souza!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza ducks under a wild hook from Alvarez.
Souza takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Alvarez misses with a looping right.
Souza keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alvarez.

Souza steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Alvarez.
Souza looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Alvarez connects with a right hand. Souza shakes it off.
Souza looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Souza slips a jab from Alvarez.
Alvarez throws the left hand but Souza avoids the punch easily.

Alvarez lands with a right, followed by a left to the temple and Souza goes down! The ref sends Alvarez to a neutral corner so he can begin the count. 3,4,5,6 and Souza is back to his feet. He seems a little groggy but the referee thinks he's OK to continue, so we're back to the action!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alvarez weaves into range and cracks Souza right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Souza goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Alvarez is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
