The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alzamora wants to land a leg kick but Cubbedge is out of range.
Alzamora checks a low kick from Cubbedge .
Cubbedge looks to land a right hand but Alzamora moved out of range.
Cubbedge throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alzamora counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Cubbedge jabs Alzamora to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Cubbedge lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alzamora circles away quickly and effectively.
Cubbedge shoots in for a double leg but Alzamora sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bart Cubbedge seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cubbedge tries to bum rush Alzamora with a series of wild strikes but Alzamora uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Alzamora swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
A nice leg kick lands there from Alzamora.
Cubbedge connects with a looping right hand.
Cubbedge throws a lazy right hand but Alzamora sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Alzamora looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Nice defenses there by Cubbedge .
Alzamora avoids the body shot from Cubbedge .
Cubbedge rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alzamora moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alzamora lands with a kick to the ribs.

Cubbedge throws a left and a right that both miss
and Alzamora counters with a nice body kick.
A head kick by Cubbedge misses
and Alzamora counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Alzamora smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Cubbedge is rocked!

It looks like Bart Cubbedge has been cut.
Alzamora weaves into range and cracks Cubbedge right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Cubbedge goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Alzamora is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
