Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justice Times (ranked 24140 p4p, 62 weight class) and Pablo Escobar (ranked 24136 p4p, 209 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Justice Times !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Escobar !
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Times shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Escobar pushes Times off looking to stand but Times dives back in and keeps control.
Escobar is pressing down on Times 's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Times wants to control from the top but Escobar keeps moving.
Escobar tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Escobar had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Times defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Escobar is on top in guard.

Escobar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Escobar seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Times is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Escobar wants to stand and escape but instead Times has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Escobar seems a little lost for a moment, as Times dominates the positioning.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Escobar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Times quickly recovers to half guard.

Escobar perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Escobar is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Escobar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Times does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Times wants to get back to full guard.

Escobar content to control rather than advance.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Times takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Escobar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Escobar scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Times to see if he's OK.

Escobar wants to lay and pray for a moment but Times keeps working.

Escobar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Times is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Escobar can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Times is looking to escape.

Escobar is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Times has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Times !

Pablo Escobar showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Times goes for a double leg but Escobar avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Escobar continues to drive forward.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

What can Times do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Escobar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
