Smith has chosen Lonely Train by Black Stone Cherry as his entrance music. Yhorm Giant has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giant cracks Smith with a big right hand and Smith goes down!

It looks like Aaron Smith has been cut.

Smith is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Giant defends well.
Giant trying to stand up but can't free himself from Smith's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Giant is standing up over Smith. Smith looks to escape but Giant dives into side control.
Giant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Giant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smith keeps working.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smith gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Giant connects with a nice short shot to Smith's temple.

Giant misses with an uppercut. Smith saw that one coming.
Giant throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Yhorm Giant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith looks winded!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Giant.

Giant waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Smith. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Smith to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Smith seems to have recovered his senses.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Giant lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Smith! Giant senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Smith out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Yhorm Giant!
Yhorm Giant spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
In defeat, Aaron Smith stepped up to the mic, saying 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
