Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Andrey Chikatilo (ranked 5807 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Cotte (ranked 4714 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cotte takes the fight into the clinch.
Cotte goes for a takedown in the clinch but Chikatilo prevents it.

Cotte pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Chikatilo throws a head kick that misses.
Chikatilo throws a head kick but Cotte moves out of range.
Chikatilo throws a sloppy head kick

and Cotte counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Chikatilo manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cotte decides to pull guard.
Chikatilo is fighting to break Cotte's control of his arms but Cotte is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Chikatilo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cotte on the ground.
Chikatilo wants to stand but Cotte has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Cotte pulls Chikatilo in close to prevent any damage.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Cotte lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Cotte slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Chikatilo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Cotte's sensitive parts.
Chikatilo fails to land with a series of punches.
Cotte wants to counter with a clinch but Chikatilo pushes him away.

Cotte closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Chikatilo is looking to get back to is feet but Cotte passes into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cotte is staying tight to Chikatilo's torso, preventing him from escaping.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Chikatilo!
Chikatilo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Chikatilo throws a lazy head kick
and Cotte counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Cotte on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Chikatilo throws the kick towards the body but Cotte avoids it.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Chikatilo enables Cotte to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Chikatilo manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

I would just about give that final round to Martin Cotte.
