Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Pool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Harry Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dixon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pool blocks a head kick by Dixon.
Pool went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Dixon tries to work over Pool's front leg with a kick but Pool checks it.
A nice combination there by Dixon.
Pool tries to close the distance and clinch but Dixon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dixon falls off balance throwing a combination

and Pool counters with a shoot takedown. Dixon fights it but they end up in guard.

Pool cracks Dixon with a solid left hand.

Pool is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Dixon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Pool seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Dixon for as long as he can get away with.

Pool decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Pool throws a lazy right hand but Dixon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Pool shoots in and gets a takedown into Dixon's guard.
Pool passes into half guard.
Pool has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, if Pool is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Pool's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Pool stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Pool gets the takedown into side control.
Dixon is looking to get back to his feet here but Pool is keeping cool and he's managed to take Dixon's back.
Pool controlling the position well here. Dixon rolled but Pool kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Pool working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Dixon is doing well to defend. Pool seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Dixon is forced to tap and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jack Pool!
