Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Young (ranked 4821 p4p, 150 weight class) and Vyacheslav Datsik (ranked 24740 p4p, 229 weight class). Young's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Blood//Water. Jack Young has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Young gets a takedown into half guard.
Young is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Datsik is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Young controlling the pace.
Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Datsik tries to roll over but Young keeps him under control.
Young lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Young is looking for a kimura but Datsik is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Young to get the leverage.
Datsik looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Datsik really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Young. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Young looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Datsik with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Young is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Young working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Datsik is looking for a sweep. Young is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Young has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

You get the feeling that Datsik really doesn't like being in this position too much.
