Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jerrod Gilmore (ranked 24076 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Visante (ranked 4561 p4p, 0 weight class). Visante has chosen Arsonist's Lullaby by Hozier as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Visante avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gilmore.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Visante's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Visante is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Gilmore is staying active.

Visante is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Gilmore knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Gilmore for a finish.
