The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells scores with a jab to the jaw.
Wells avoids the head kick by Pranjic.

Pranjic takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Pranjic fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wells checks it well.
Wells appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pranjic looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Wells counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Wells.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Pranjic takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Pranjic throws out a leg kick but Wells moves out of range and Pranjic only half commits.
Pranjic misses with a lunging right hand
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

Wells closes the distance and pushes Pranjic back into the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Wells creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Wells lands a hook that snaps the head of Pranjic backwards.
Wells lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

A hook to the body from Wells.
Wells stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Wells.

Pranjic is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Wells pushes Pranjic against the cage. Wells is working some dirty boxing. Wells pushes off with a quick right hook! Pranjic goes down! Pranjic tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Wells moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
