Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Donald O Rourke (ranked 24654 p4p, 624 weight class) and Mario Vanni (ranked 4834 p4p, 501 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mario Vanni!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vanni instigates a clinch.
Vanni fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Vanni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
O Rourke misses with a takedown attempt - Vanni sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
O Rourke shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vanni as he jumps to the side.
Vanni slaps away a takedown attempt from O Rourke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Donald O Rourke. That's going to take a lot out of him.
O Rourke decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Vanni manages to escape and get back to his feet!
O Rourke fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vanni to the ground. O Rourke is now in Vanni's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vanni tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vanni is looking for a triangle but O Rourke pushes his legs off easily.
O Rourke has gone for a leg lock! Vanni slips out almost immediately though and dives into O Rourke's guard.
O Rourke has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Vanni doesn't defend quickly enough and O Rourke has managed to lock this one up! Can Vanni escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to O Rourke on a fantastic submission victory.
