The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedon rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dealo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dealo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kilo Dealo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dealo misses with a few strikes there.
Macedon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dealo swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A counter left hand to the body from Dealo misses its target.
Macedon tries to clinch up.
Dealo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Macedon is able to avoid easily.

and Macedon counters by moving into the clinch.

Macedon turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Macedon manages to end up in side control.
Macedon wants to control but Dealo is keeping him busy.
Dealo is trying to get back to half guard.
Macedon is looking to take a break and control but Dealo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dealo tries to improve position but can't.

The strikes coming from Macedon are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Macedon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Dealo is looking to regain half guard here but Macedon keeps moving and retains side control.

Macedon has hold of Dealo's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dealo seems comfortable defending it but Macedon has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dealo is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dealo is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Macedon couldn't care less - he's delighted!
