Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rhett Dunn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brayson Millhouse!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dunn darts in and clinches Millhouse up against the cage.

Dunn tightens his grip and picks Millhouse up, before dumping him to the ground. Millhouse manages to land in guard.
Millhouse is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Dunn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dunn wants to work for an arm triangle but Millhouse is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Millhouse misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Millhouse tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Dunn has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Millhouse wants to control but Dunn is having none of it.

Dunn is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Millhouse is surviving well by controlling Dunn's body position as best he can.

Millhouse tries to improve his position but instead Dunn has taken his back!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Millhouse manages to reverse the position and now he's in Dunn's guard. Nice work there by Millhouse.

Dunn pulls Millhouse in close to his closed guard and prevents Millhouse from doing any damage or advancing position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dunn lands with a heel strike from the guard.

Millhouse drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dunn dives on top into guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Millhouse has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Dunn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Dunn wants to get up but he can't break Millhouse's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Millhouse is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dunn is aware though and is defending well.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Millhouse is pulling down on Dunn's head. It's preventing any offense from Dunn, at least for the moment.

Dunn stands up and waves to Millhouse to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Millhouse drives through and clinches with Dunn against the cage.
Dunn is working for takedown but Millhouse is calmly controlling the position for now.

Millhouse has Dunn pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Millhouse pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Dunn tumbling to the mat - Millhouse dives into Dunn's guard.
Dunn will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Millhouse stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dunn swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Millhouse must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dunn holds on and takes a little breather.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Millhouse drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Dunn can't do much from the bottom here.

Rhett Dunn overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Dunn pulls Millhouse in close to prevent any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Millhouse throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dunn works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dunn keeping moving, preventing Millhouse from controlling successfully.
Dunn is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Brayson Millhouse showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!



Millhouse shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Millhouse showed some decent athleticism there.
Dunn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dunn is looking to control Millhouse's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dunn avoid being mounted?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Millhouse shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Dunn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brayson Millhouse comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Millhouse has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
