Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Malakai Rasputin (ranked 5968 p4p, 433 weight class) and Fatu Masiwera (ranked 6063 p4p, 442 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Fatu Masiwera!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasputin ducks under a wild hook from Masiwera.
Rasputin swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Masiwera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Fatu Masiwera has been cut.
Rasputin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Rasputin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Masiwera.
Masiwera swings widly with a right hand
enabling Rasputin to counter with a crisp jab.
Rasputin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Island Sparring in the buildup to the fight.

Rasputin feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Masiwera sprawling to the canvas! Masiwera rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rasputin finish him?!

Masiwera is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Masiwera takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Masiwera is still on wobbly legs! Can Rasputin finish him?
Rasputin lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Masiwera - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Rasputin!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Malakai Rasputin!
Malakai Rasputin spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
