Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hipolito Slater (ranked 6229 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Brown (ranked 4672 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Billy Brown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Brown is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Slater makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Slater.
Slater looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Slater wants to hit a switch here but Brown passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Slater there!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown avoids the attempt from Slater to control.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brown trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brown cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Slater is desperately trying to improve his position but Brown has a good base and remains in mount.
Slater is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.
Brown can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Slater is looking to escape.
Slater can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Brown! Slater is hurt baaadly! Brown is firing away with more strikes - Slater is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
