Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joey Deertay (ranked 4456 p4p, 147 weight class) and Jonah Rock (ranked 5079 p4p, 167 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deertay tries for a takedown but Rock circles away easily
and Rock counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Deertay throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rock counters with a one-two to the body.
Rock scores with a kick to the midsection.

Deertay moves into range and clinches up with Rock.
Rock tries to break free but Deertay pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Jonah Rock has been cut.

Deertay has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Rock uses from the top position.

We've been hearing good reports from Deertay's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Deertay is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Rock has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Deertay sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Rock taps out!
