PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paddie Ohallahan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunnar Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jensen is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Clutch: Electric Worry. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jensen shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jensen showed some decent athleticism there.

Ohallahan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Jensen moves into the clinch.
Ohallahan lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ohallahan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jensen up against the cage.

Jensen jumps guard but Ohallahan stands there with Jensen around his waist. Jensen gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Ohallahan is pushing Jensen up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Jensen closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ohallahan to the mat! Ohallahan manages to get full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jensen stands up over Ohallahan, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Ohallahan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jensen can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Horrible takedown by Jensen or perhaps it was just good defense by Ohallahan which made him look bad.
