The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petrov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Su Sing scores with a leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Su Sing or perhaps it was just good defense by Petrov, which made it look bad.
Petrov throws a series of punches but Su Sing moves out of range.
Su Sing unleashes a big counter combination but Petrov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Su Sing is looking to clinch but Petrov is avoiding it.
Su Sing scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Petrov looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Su Sing!
Su Sing takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Petrov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Su Sing has escaped the position, nice work there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Su Sing gets back to half guard.

Su Sing is trying to maintain the position but Petrov is very close to passing his half guard.
Su Sing won't allow Petrov to pass to mount.

Petrov postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Su Sing to stand up.
Su Sing tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Petrov defends well and Su Sing ends up having to push Petrov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Petrov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Petrov dives in and scores a takedown into Su Sing's guard.

Su Sing tries to close the distance and clinch up but Petrov swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Petrov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Su Sing sprawls well initially but Petrov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Su Sing tries to get to full guard but Petrov has control of the leg.
Su Sing is trying to escape back to his feet but Petrov uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Petrov controls the position.

Petrov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Su Sing knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Petrov stands up.
Petrov swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Su Sing is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Petrov lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Petrov stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Petrov wants it to stay on the feet.

Su Sing seems a little lost for a moment, as Petrov dominates the positioning.
