The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
RiiNG tries to clinch there but Flenderson circles away.
RiiNG shoots for a double leg takedown but Flenderson sprawls well. He's pushed RiiNG's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Flenderson shoots for a takedown but RiiNG saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Flenderson, right into the meat.
RiiP RiiNG seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

RiiNG shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Flenderson but Flenderson pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Flenderson has his foot on RiiNG's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. RiiNG works his way back into a safe position though.

Flenderson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as RiiNG walks away with a smile on his face. Flenderson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if RiiNG can do anything to dispel that myth.
