PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Habib Mcgregor (ranked 24584 p4p, 624 weight class) and Chuck Lee (ranked 23257 p4p, 644 weight class). Mcgregor comes to the cage accompanied by Rammstein - Deutschland. Lee has chosen Titties and Coke "subliminal messages" as his entrance music. Chuck Lee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Habib Mcgregor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Chuck Lee!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to clinch but Mcgregor moves out of range.
Lee's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Lee duly obliges.

Lee has managed to clinch.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Mcgregor pushes him off.
Mcgregor is looking for a counter combo.

Lee lands a left and a right that send Mcgregor crashing to the mat, dazed. Lee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mcgregor looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcgregor tries to counter by clinching up but Lee breaks away and moves out of range.
Mcgregor circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mcgregor appears to be looking for a big counter.

Lee clinches.
Lee prevents a takedown attempt there.
Mcgregor pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Lee breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mcgregor takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee cracks Mcgregor on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Mcgregor falls backwards against the cage. Lee follows up with more strikes that drop Mcgregor to his knees. Lee keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Mcgregor! This one is all over!
