The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrison throws a shot to the body.
Garrison throws a sloppy head kick and Olson moves out of range easily.

Garrison throws out a counter right but Olson avoids it with no problem.
Garrison swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Olson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Garrison.

Olson closes the distance and clinches up with Garrison, looking for a takedown. Olson pushes Garrison against the cage but Garrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Olson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Garrison manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Olson keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Garrison has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Olson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Garrison.
And Olson counters with a quick kick to the body but Garrison blocks it.
Olson is looking to slow Garrison down with leg kicks.

Whack! Garrison lands a heavy head kick that drops Olson. The ref tackles Garrison to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Olson was done.
